This course is not currently listed in the Times Schedule; details will be available before winter quarter begins, at which time we will arrange to add all of you. Note that the course will be on Tuesdays from 4:30-6:30; please plan your schedule accordingly.

Classical Arabic Literature in Translation

Duties will include leading a one-hour section/week, where students will read a selection of the texts in the original Arabic, as well as helping the Instructor grade exams and papers.
The ideal candidate will be an advanced graduate student in Arabic/Islamic studies with a strong background in classical Arabic literature and a sound knowledge of Arabic.
