Joseph Harris is a PhD Student in The Archaeology of the Ancient Near East. He focuses on the Neolithic, with special interest in the dialectical emergence of sedentism, agriculture, and novel cultural and ideological systems.

Joseph completed his BA with highest distinction at UNC Chapel Hill in 2022, majoring in Classical Archaeology, and afterwards spent an Affiliate year at University College London's Institute of Archaeology.

Joseph has worked at several archaeological projects, including in Turkey, Jordan, Greece, Israel, Iraq, and North Carolina.
