NELC congratulates Kara Peruccio, currently a Humanities Teaching Fellow, who has been appointed Assistant Professor of History and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at the University of Maine.
Dr. Peruccio completed her PhD in NELC in 2020 with a dissertation entitled "Women on the Verge: Emotions, Authoritarianism, and the Novel in Italy and Turkey, 1922-1936" under the direction of Prof. Holly Shissler.
