Samuel Hodgkin has been hired as an Assistant Professor of Comparative Literature at Yale University, beginning in Autumn 2019, when he will teach "Persian Literary Classics" and "Medieval World Literature, Genres and Geographies." Sam received his PhD from NELC in Autumn 2018. His dissertation, "Lāhūtī: Persian Poetry in the Making of the Literary International, 1906-1957,” was supervised by Prof. Franklin Lewis.
