NELC Alumnus Helps Model the Contested Past and the Climate Future

NELC recognizes the contributions of PhD alumnus, Timothy Harrison to the archaeological site of Tell Tayinat, as described in the Fall 2021 UChicago Humanities Division magazine, Tableau. Dr. Harrison's 1995 dissertation was entitled "Life On the Edge: Human Adaptation and Resilience in the Semi-arid Highlands of Central Jordan during the Early Bronze Age." He is a Professor of Near Eastern Archaeology and currently serves as Chair of the Department of Near and Middle Eastern Civilizations at the University of Toronto.
