Congratulations to NELC alum, Rodrigo Adem (PhD, "The Sources for an Intellectual Biography of Ibn Taymīya," 2015), who has taken a position as Assistant Professor in the Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies at Georgetown University.
Since defending his PhD in our department, Dr. Adem has been a postdoctoral Fellow at UNC Chapel Hill; a Fellow in the Islamic Legal Studies program and in the Department of History at Harvard; and a Research Professor at the Center of Asian and African Studies at El Colegio de México.
