سيلقي هذا الأسبوع إندرن فرناندو محاضرة بعنوان "تعامُل الدولة العثمانية مع الخميرة
S.Cerevisiae"
إندرن فرناندو طالب ماجستير في مركز دراسات الشرق الأوسط يتخصص في الأدب العربي الحديث، لا سيما روايات زهرة عمر وهي كاتبة أردينة ذات أصول شركسية. وقد درس إندرن اللغة العربية في المغرب والأردن ومصر وعمل في منظمة إعادة توطين اللاجئين في ولاية ميزوري قبل إلتحاقه بجامعة شيكاغو.
ترحب الندوة العربية بجميع الطلاب من شتى المستويات ونتمنى أن نراكم عن قريب إن شاء الله!

Indran Fernando will be giving a talk titled: The Interaction of the Ottoman State with S. Cerevisiae (Brewer's Yeast).
Indran Fernando is a master's student at the Center for Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Chicago. He specializes in contemporary Arabic literature, and he focuses on the novels of Zahra Omar who is a Jordanian novelist from Circassian descent. Indran has studied Arabic in Morrocco, Jordan and Egypt. Prior to joining the University of Chicago, he worked at the Refugee Resettlement Program in Missouri.
