Congratulations to NELC alum Hani Khafipour (PhD NELC 2013), currently Assistant Professor (Teaching) of Iranian Studies at USC, who is the recipient of the 2021 J. Franklin Jameson Award from the American Historical Association for outstanding achievement in the editing of historical primary sources.
The prize recognizes his edited volume, The Empires of the Near East and India: Source Studies of the Safavid, Ottoman, and Mughal Literate Communities (Columbia University Press 2019).
